We create unforgettable rugby, cricket, hockey, netball and golf tours across Southern Africa and internationally — combining competitive fixtures, quality accommodation, safe transport, safari experiences and cultural travel opportunities.
Our experienced team works closely with schools, clubs and international travel partners to build customised tour programmes suited to every budget, age group and playing level.
MEET THE CAPTAIN
Neil Lyon is the founder and Managing Director of SA Sports Tours and Lyon Tours & Safaris, based in East London, South Africa.
With more than 17 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Neil specialises in professionally managed sports tours, safari experiences and customised group travel across Southern Africa.
His passion for sport, travel and creating unforgettable experiences has helped schools, clubs and international teams enjoy seamless tours combining fixtures, accommodation, transport, cultural activities and safari experiences.
Neil personally oversees tour planning, logistics and client relationships to ensure every tour is professionally managed from arrival to departure.
